Dry film lubricants

This flexible, water based coating is a resin-bonded PTFE lubricant that prevents binding, seizing, sticking and tearing of rubber and plastic parts during production and assembly.  It protects substrates from oil, alcohol, gasoline, dirt and abrasive substances.

Xylan ^® has excellent adhesion to a variety of materials including but not limited to steel, brass, aluminum, copper, ceramic, wood and fiberglass.  It is wear, corrosion (salt water, road chemicals, etc.) and weather resistant.  It exhibits a wide operating temperature  range of  –240° F to 550° F. With a low coefficient of friction of 0.02, it has remarkable release properties.  An extensive color range is available to personalize the product.
