| "FAST TECHNOLOGY" PROVIDES CONSISTENT HIGH QUALITY
TO KEEP YOU COMPETITIVE |
| When the application demands the best
of release and low friction combined with superior ability to resist
all types of abrasive wear, this fluoropolymer coating is superior. Normal
fluoropolymer coatings are layered over the substrate with minimal surface preparation
(surface cleaning and perhaps abrading). Conventional coatings can wear quickly and lose the low friction,
release and corrosion resistance needed. Excalibur® is a unique system.
First the substrate is blasted with an abrasive to roughen it. A patented stainless steel alloy
is arc-sprayed onto the roughened surface. When cooled and hardened, this alloy bonds to the
surface providing a permanent base for the Excalibur® coating. The tough fluoropolymer
coating permanently adheres to this surface. Excalibur® is used in the commercial food
industry (cookware, bakery equipment, canning machinery, heat sealing bars
and plates, packaging equipment, etc.) plus has many industrial applications as well
(abraders, agitators, conveyors, earth moving machinery, motorway paving equipment,
reactor vessels, rotary pumps, snow release, textile machinery, valves, washers, etc.). |
