Durillium B can be deposited to a depth of 0.001 in. to 0.01 in. with minimal dimensional change (typically 0.002 in for 0.0004 in. penetration). Durillium B will mirror the surface quality of its substrate and can be applied into a diamond polished surface. A Durillium B surface can be polished to within a light band of flatness and < 1 micro inch of roughness in order to reclaim the original surface quality. When installing Durillium B processed parts, do not us hammers, pry bars, screw drivers or other hard objects against the processed surface.
