| "FAST TECHNOLOGY" PROVIDES CONSISTENT HIGH QUALITY
TO KEEP YOU COMPETITIVE |
Russell Products provides a
range of coatings that meet FDA requirements. Depending on your exact performance
requirements, Russell Products will custom design a coating for your cookware that
will meet your needs. The coatings that are offered are PTFE, Xylan®, Teflon® and Excalibur®.
These coatings offer a high degree of reliable non-stick cooking and abrasion
resistance. These coatings exhibit extraordinary cleaning convenience while resisting
scratches. Your high performance cookware should allow easy removal of residual buildup. These
coatings also convey hot hardness to the cookware. Appearance is greatly enhanced.
These coatings can be applied on aluminum, anodized aluminum and
stainless steel substrates by a variety of processes.
|
- Teflon® sprays on like a paint and bakes to a tough
inert finish.
- In preparation of coating with Excalibur®, the substrate
is blasted with an abrasive to roughen it. A patented
stainless steel alloy is arc-sprayed onto the roughened
surface. This alloy bonds to the surface providing a
permanent base for the coating. Excalibur® permanently
adheres to this surface.
- PTFE is spray applied and baked to achieve full
polymerization.
- Xylan® is applied by HVLP or conventional spray methods.

- Immersion Testing
- Cross hatch testing
- Cook testing

| Russell Non-stick is an innovative
process that allows worn out and damaged non-stick items to be recoated.
FDA, NSF and USDA approved, Russell Non-stick is a 2 part PTFE coating
that can be reinforced with a layer of stainless steel to make it harder.
Russell Non-stick can be applied to metal handles or those handles that
can withstand a cure temperature of 750° F. Maximum continuous service temperature
is 550° F. For more information or price on recoating cookware and accessories, contact
